Hello Again!
Yes, I'm going to tell you all about my third GEM workshop(19/08).
That day I presented my speech and guess what, I was Shaking my leg. -.-
What was worse, I didn't even notice it! I was wandering why everyone was laughing but Tabin told me later that I was practically dancing. laughs... Miss Maz commented about it and they told me I have a nice tone. How sweet! Then, we had an ice breaker. We were grouped by Miss Maz and were told to come up with a food item and a character/celebrity relating to it and why. Oh boy, I wanted to go up but they said that those who presented already can't go up. How sad. ):
But it was so entertaining! I couldn't stand siting properly, I keep getting so excited and I realised that I could be inconsiderate at times. oh well, I've learnt about it and I will improve.
Other then that It was so fun , Heck it was a hell lotta fun. Oh, did I mention that Mia was the one who conducted the workshop. She is very pleasent in person , I like this GEM thing. I'm looking forward to the next workshop . And, oh, This was the homework :D

Here I am! Ready to hear more about my second workshop of GEM(12/08)?
okay, Here goes....
That day, our knowledge about the Art of Public speaking was further deepened.
They taught us how we were supposed to behave and how to hold the mike.
Before that we had another ice breaking game. We could only respond with questions.
Once you make a statement, you're out of the game. It was very fun and Jenifer was so cute, She make a statement first and then ask question, then came the finals. OH MY, Venessa, William , Han Shan and whoever that played that game were good. Hell, I had a tough time but look who was laughing, Jack and Rai. They even said that we were entertaining... laughs... If possible, I would like to see a video if that.. I'm happy that I got a star and hope I would continue getting more.
Nope, we're not done yet. We were assigned to write a 2 minutes speech about what is our passion last week and around 10 people gave their speech. I especially enjoyed Cristie's speech. It was very sweet and enjoyable. I love her voice. Soon, we had to go home and we bid good bye to each other and left.

here the journey begins...

Hi everyone :D
This shall be my first post about the GEM workshop(5/08). Oh my, I'm SO excited!
laughs... Basically, we were introduced to Public Speaking.
At first I thought it was going to be sort of formal and quite dull because Miss Maz is usually very strict but , oh well, I'm glad to say it was fun.
Hell, It was LOTS of fun. Jack and Rai were very humorous.
First we had an ice breaking game.
Jack and Rai will sing some lyrics from the song and we have to quickly put up our hands to answer what song it is and who is it written by.
That day Jane, Cristie, Hanshan and I were in a group and the competition was very strong. Though that was the case, the atmosphere was very warm and friendly but exciting.
In the end , Yoe Yin's group won. Oh well, it's not always about winning, It's about the game :D
Oh man, I LOVE Wednesdays now. I used to be very bored on Wednesdays because I had nothing to do but OH BOY, here comes another exciting event of my life.
